MEET THAGON
Thagon’s Drafting & Design Co. is owned by Kelsey Thagon, and operated on the East Coast of NC. She is an experienced draftsman with over 4 years of industry experience. Formally trained, professional, and committed to drafting home plans for families and residential builders across all counties of North Carolina.
She has drawn houses that have been built on the beach, along the sound, as well as further inland. Every home is carefully designed with forsight in mind. Her highest priority when drafting your home is to prevent, identify, and eliminate potential issues before they become big ones. When issues arise Thagon is prepared to offer you innovation solutions to solve them.

Design Process
Step 1
Reach out! Fill out the contact form at the bottom of this webpage or email us directly at homes@thagondrafting.com. You'll receive an email asking you to book your consultation meeting. This meeting usually lasts an hour.
Step 2
Hooray! It's consultation day! This is the time we'll meet either online via videochat, or in-person at a local coffee shop. We'll discuss your vision for your family's home. So bring your inspiration photos, ideas, and rough sketches to the table.
Step 3
After our meeting, you'll receive a proposal via email. After your approval, your signature, and all fees are paid we can start drafting your home.
Step 4
When the plans are ready for your review you'll be sent a friendly text to check your email. They'll be there attached as a PDF. This is the time where you'll mark up the plans with your desired edits.
Step 5
When you've finished marking up the plans with your edits, you'll email them back to homes@thagondrafting.com. This is called revision request #1. We'll get back to work on updating the plan to meet your requested edits.
Once the revised plans are ready for review, Step 4 will repeat all over again until you're satisfied with your home plan.
However, please know that at Thagon's we provide up to four revision requests with every project. If additional revisions are needed beyond the four requests, we understand — they'll simply be completed at our hourly drafting rate.

Step 6
Once totally satisfied with your plans, you'll let us know via email or text! You'll receive an invoice with the remaining balance, this needs to be fulfilled before you can receive your official PDF plans and CAD files.
Step 7
Hooray! Now you have a custom set of home plans ready to present to your builder of choice. Your new home is on the horizon!
